Thanks for visiting GreenBrandywine.com.  As mentioned in my first post, we are in the very early stages of content development.  I thought I'd take a few minutes and share some of the features we plan to add and some of the topics we plan to get into here.  

Your feedback is very important.  One of the next features we will be developing is a commenting feature for these blog posts.  We want to make this site interactive and we want to be sure to capture the expertise of all of the members of our community.  The feedback feature is in development and should be available within a couple of days.  Meanwhile, feel free to use our Contact Form in the meantime.

Some other features in the works include a better calendar of events format, with a true calendar view; a directory of volunteer opportunities, guest articles (send us your suggestions!), photos, a dedicated section discussing government incentives for renewable energy, and some surprises we will roll out in the weeks and months  to come.

We are also anxious to increase the depth and breadth of our directories.  Please send us suggestions for businesses and organizations that belong in our existing directories, as well as additional categories we should include.  If you are one of the businesses already listed, please let us know if we have anything wrong in your listing.

And here are some of the topics we expect to visit in our articles in the future: ROI for home and small business projects, existing projects in our community, what to expect if you are considering a geothermal or solar system, how does/will climate change effect our region, features on the people and organizations who are trying to make a difference in our community, what are our local municipalities and school districts doing to reduce their carbon footprints, how to tighten your house, and much more.

We will also explore opportunities to present speakers, perhaps both online via webinars and offline at venues throughout the region.  We will also explore an email newsletter to bring news form our site to your inbox.
