Richard Whiteford, a member of Al Gore’s Climate Project, was in Copenhagen in December for The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 15) where he spoke to an audience of 800 people from around the world.  Richard is also involved with Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) members, Dr. Paul Ehrlich, Dr. Stephen Schneider, Dr. James Hansen, and others who are working on an effort to get the truth out about climate change.  Richard will show a PowerPoint presentation and talk about what happened in Copenhagen, present some of the newest scientific climate information, and talk about the latest skeptic shenanigans as they get more desperate in the face of indisputable climate change evidence.

Rev. Dr. Owen Owens of the National Religious Coalition on Creation Care (NRCCC), a multi-denominational coalition of religious leaders, will talk about their annual Washington Week event this year in which 50 clergy members held a prayer breakfast at the Willard Hotel.  Dr. James Hansen of NASA presented the keynote speech and received the NRCCC Stewardship Award.  Dr. Owens will talk about their visit with White House staff and more than 30 legislative visits on Capitol Hill.  He will also describe NRCCC’s mission, goals and future plans.
