What if everyone had access to the waterfronts, could enjoy safe bike lanes, and could conveniently utilize public transportation? Zoning codes play a major role in almost every current effort to make Philadelphia a more sustainable city. How zoning codes are created and designated has major implications for the future of our city. Advocates for sustainability, design professionals, and interested citizens are welcomed to come learn more about ongoing efforts and upcoming zoning reforms from city and state officials, national experts, and local practitioners.
