![]() The release of the 3rd generation Toyota Prius is nearing. Toyota is starting to stir up some talk about the new model, due out in Late Spring. Toyota once again brings many innovative features to the market with the Prius. New available features include solar panels in the roof that will run a fan to force out hot air when the car is parked in the sun; a larger, 1.5L engine that gets better fuel mileage (rated at 50MPG); a new heads-up control panel; LED headlights, an automatic parking system, solar roof, and a voice-activated navigation system. Also available is a battery-operated remote control air-conditioning feature that allows the driver to start the AC before entering the vehicle. The 2010 version also proivdes a power moon-roof and more cabin-space than previous years. Here is a video that Toyota has posted showing off some of the new features and public reaction to an advance-released vehicle. |
